ORDERING INFORMATION
Upon submission of the order you will be sent a confirming email detailing the products ordered and all invoicing / shipping information. If any information is incorrect please contact our online sales department Toll Free: 1-866-663-8233 during regular business hours.
PAYMENT
We accept Visa and MasterCard only for online purchases. Typically we will only charge your credit card on the day of shipment, however we reserve the right to retain a deposit or charge the full amount in advance for parts that need to be special ordered. Bank transfers or T/T’ s are welcome but are subject to handling fees and minimum orders. Please contact us for details.
Sorry but COD orders are not accepted.
SHIPPING
Shipping charges quoted are minimum amounts charged for average weight shipments. Shipping of Canadian orders will be based on our rates from Purolator (plus taxes, if applicable) for the method and type of shipping you have chosen at checkout. Shipping of US orders will be based on UPS International ground shipping rates. If the freight charge is greater than indicated we will contact you for confirmation before shipping. Please read 'IN STOCK' Information below regarding backorders, special orders and partial shipments.
PRICES
For Canadian shipments, all prices are based on Canadian dollars, FOB our local stores/warehouse, and are subject to change without notice. US shipments will be based on US dollars, FOB our local store/warehouse if US currency is selected on our homepage. Rates are subject to change without notice.
QUANTITY PURCHASES
Most items are available in large quantities to Manufacturers and other volume users. Please contact us by email or telephone to obtain a volume pricing quote. One of our sales representatives will get back to you promptly. Contact information is located under the Contact Us heading on our homepage.
IN STOCK INFORMATION
All on hand information is subject to change. Our online catalogue is updated on a regular basis but there will be occasions where we have just received an out of stock item or sold out of another. If an item is out of stock at the time of order, or has a lead time associated with it, we will back order it for you. We will attempt to ship all orders complete, however, if a partial shipment is requested, multiple shipping charges will apply. We will only charge your credit card for what is shipped and on the day of shipment, however we reserve the right to retain a deposit or charge the full amount in advance for parts that need to be special ordered or are on back order.
US ORDERS
Please refer to the SHIPPING section above. Please note that some products may not be available for export due to export restrictions and dangerous goods shipping restrictions.
Shipments to the US are free of duty and brokerage for orders under US $200. Orders above this amount will usually require additional brokerage and duty charges which are collected by the shipping company at the time of delivery. UPS Express (Red) and Expedited (Blue) services include the brokerage charge in the freight rate but may still collect any import duties US Customs imposes.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Currently, we do not accept online orders outside of Canada and the US.
WARRANTY
All products sold by Active Tech Electronics Canada Inc. are warranted to be free of defect in workmanship and materials for a specified period of time depending on the manufacturer and their warranty policies. Should a product require repairs within this time, please contact us for an RMA and return instructions. Products being returned from the US must be returned to our US Address which will be provided with the return request. Any shipments received without a return authorization will be refused. Active Tech will repair or at its option replace products that prove to be defective.
In no event shall Active liability exceed the buyer’ s purchase price, nor shall Active be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
This warranty is void if the product has been tampered with or misused.
(If returning battery operated products please ensure the fault is not a weak battery)
